Terms of service
These are our terms of service. Please contact us if you have any comments. Remember; Bokimi is merely created to be the world's simplest to-do list.
Your use of Bokimi's services and web sites (referred to collectively as the "Service" in this document) is subject to the terms of a legal agreement between you and Bokimi.
By using the Service, you have agreed to the terms and conditions set out in this document. These are referred to below as the "Terms of Service". Bokimi will treat your use of the Service as acceptance of the Terms of Service from that point onwards.
Bokimi may make changes to the Terms of Service from time to time. When these changes are made, Bokimi will make a new copy of the Terms of Service available at http://bokimi.com/terms.php. Terms of Service will be made available to you from within the Service.
You understand and agree that if you use the Service after the date on which the Terms of Service have changed, Bokimi will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
Use of the Service:
Using the Service is at your sole risk.
To create a user account it is required that you provide Bokimi with a username and a password. Only you can use the Service with your username and password. You are responsible for your combination of username and password. This information shall not be shared with others. Bokimi have the right to close down your account without prior notice if Bokimi suspects there are several users using your user account.
If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify Bokimi by sending an e-mail to admin(at)bokimi.com.
Accounts registered by automated methods are not permitted.
You are not allowed to, or attempt to, either modify or adapt the Service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by Bokimi.
If you find any content offensive, indecent or objectionable, please notify us by sending an e-mail to admin(at)bokimi.com. The administrator at Bokimi will do an evaluation of your inquiry. Bokimi is not obligated to remove this content, but have the right to do so. While Bokimi prohibits such conduct and content on the Service, you understand and agree that Bokimi cannot be responsible for the content posted on the Service and you nonetheless may be exposed to such materials. All accounts are unique to a specific user. In case this occurs it is also very important to notify us as this can be caused by spam, hacking etc.
Violation of any of the terms in this document will result in the termination of your account.
Bokimi rights:
The Service need maintenance from time to time and as a result it may be necessary to temporary make the Service unavailable. Bokimi has the right to close down the Service at any time without prior notice. Bokimi has no obligation to provide you with any information if the Service is shut down or temporary unavailable. Bokimi will of course do its best to give prior notice.
Technical support is provided by sending an email to admin(at)bokimi.com.
You fully understand that any information from Bokimi to you will be sent by e-mail. If you do not provide Bokimi with a valid e-mail that reaches you, then Bokimi is not able to inform you about any changes to the Service.
Bokimi have the right to store account details as long as you have a registred user account. Bokimi has no responsibility for any loss of data you may experience in your user account.
Bokimi, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate any account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other Bokimi service, for any reason at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account and content or your access to your account and content, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your account.
Bokimi is not liable to you for:
- Any indirect or consequential losses which may be incurred by you. This shall include any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of goodwill or business reputation, or any loss of data suffered by you.
- Any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as as a result of your failure to provide Bokimi with accurate account infromation or your failure to keep password or account details secure and confidential.
- Any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, or as a result of any relationship or transaction between you and any advertiser or sponsor whose advertising appears on the Service.
- Any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as as a result of changes which Bokimi may make to the Service, or for any permanent or temporary cessation in the provision of the Service (or any features within the Service);
The limitations on Bokimi’s liability to you above shall apply whether or not Bokimi has been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of any such losses arising.
Exclusion of warranties:
The Service is provided "as is".
Bokimi does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that defects in the Service will be corrected or that any requests you might have to the Service will be implemented. Further, Bokimi does not warrant that the Service will be available at any given time. Bokimi does not warrant that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely or free from error.
General legal terms:
You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
The Terms of Service, and your relationship with Bokimi under the Terms of Service, shall be governed by Norwegian law. You and Bokimi agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms of Service.
You agree that Bokimi may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to the Terms, by email, regular mail, or postings on the Services.
If any court of law, having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter, rules that any provision of these Terms of Service is invalid, then that provision will be removed from the Terms of Service without affecting the rest of the Terms of Service. The remaining provisions of the Terms of Service will continue to be valid and enforceable.
Nothing in these Terms of Service shall exclude or limit Bokimi’s liability for losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law.
